Achilleas Demetriades specialises in Human Rights and has been, among other, advocating the creation of a Truth Commission for the Missing in Cyprus.
Since 1988, he has been practising as a lawyer at Lellos P Demetriades Law Office LLC, specializing in human rights and intellectual property. He successfully conducted the first individual application against Turkey before the European Court of Human Rights (Loizidou v Turkey – in relation to property) and the first individual application against Cyprus (Modinos v Cyprus – in relation to private life). He is a founding member of the NGO “Truth Now” and a former Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association. He was called to the English Bar and received a Master’s Degree in International Law from Georgetown University. He is also a European Patent Attorney and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Marios began his career at KPMG Cyprus, progressing from Audit Junior to Assistant Audit Manager, before joining KPMG UK in London, where he gained international experience in the Private Equity Funds department.
In 2017, he played a key role in establishing KENDRIS Cyprus, including securing an "Administrative Service Provider" license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. As CFO of KENDRIS (Cyprus) Ltd, Marios leads the accounting team in Larnaca, specializing in client bookkeeping under International Financial Reporting Standards.
